The Kevin Brown Memorial Tournament of Champions is a tribute to Washington Community High School Coach Kevin Brown’s legacy of resilience and determination.
Diagnosed with glioblastoma in 2018, Kevin continued to inspire his players and community with his relentless spirit.
Even in the face of this aggressive cancer, he never gave up.
KB Strong, the foundation established in Kevin’s honor, is dedicated to raising awareness and funding for glioblastoma research.
By supporting the tournament, you’re helping to continue Kevin’s fight and bring hope to those battling this devastating disease.

Giving back.
Beyond the competition, ToC is about community building and giving back. Players participate in special activities, including:
- Visits to children’s hospitals, bringing encouragement and joy to young patients (and our players!).
- Reverse autograph signings, where young cancer fighters receive signed memorabilia from players, creating lifelong memories.
- A Thanksgiving week of service, where teams, volunteers, and the community come together to support the cause.

Recommended for fans between 7–13 years old
Ready to get up close and personal? Give your child an unforgettable experience assisting top-tier basketball players while making a meaningful contribution to the community.
what will they get to do?
Once your child is paired with a participating team, they’ll get to:
- Be announced as the official ball boy/girl for that team
- Sit directly behind the team during every one of your team's games
- Ensure players have everything they need, like water and towels
- Bring basketballs to the court and assist with quick exchanges during timeouts or breaks
- Lend a hand with tasks like keeping the bench area clean, sweeping the gym floor, and anything else the team needs
More Perks of being a ball boy/girl:
- Free entry into every session of the Tournament of Champions—plus one adult all session pass for the accompanying parent or adult guardian
- An official Ball Boy or Ball Girl T-Shirt by TeamWorks

- Fee: $150 per child
