Hey ToC Fans! Let’s take a look at the elite Centers coming to Washington this Thanksgiving!
For 20 years, we have been able to watch some of the top national high school centers in America! Players like DeAndre Jordan, Walker Kessler, Myles Turner, Udoka Azubuike, Mo Bamba, Nerlens Noel, Mangok Mathiang, Kai Rogers, DeWayne Brown, James Brown, George Conditt, Austin Wiley, Chris Harris, Christ Essandoko, Matthew van Komen and Connor Vanover.
Local big-men have also played in the ToC- Jordan Prosser, Dylan Sparkman, Jonah Funk and KJ DeBrick.
This year’s group of centers rank amongst the very best in ToC lore, so let’s take a look.
JOSH IRVING, 7’0″ Sr.
Pasadena, California
* TOP 50 player in 2026 class. Irving continues to improve every time he takes the court. He has a high motor and dominates on both ends of the court. He is currently contemplating Louisville, Kansas, Texas A&M, SMU and San Diego State as his future college home.
ISAIAH HILL, 7’0″ Jr.
Indianapolis Pike, Indiana
* TOP 20 player in the 2027 class. Hill ranks as the #1 junior in Indiana and once you see him in action, you will understand why. He is an elite shot blocker and is automatic in the lane on the offensive end.
PETER JULIUS, 6’9″ So.
Mt. Bethel Christian, Georgia
* TOP 20 player in the 2028 class. Julius rounds out the tri-fecta of ranked centers in this year’s event. He averaged 19 points and 13 boards as a freshman, last season. He possesses great strength and elevation in the paint.
EPIPHANE AFFI, 6’9″ So.
Houston Xavier, Texas
* Unranked power-5 who can block a shot, then race past everyone for a dunk on the other end of the court. He is a rare talent that will rise up the ranks very soon.
JOHN FLEEMAN, 7’0″ Sr.
Kingsville, Missouri
* #1 Small school player in Missouri. Fleeman plays the game like Nikola Jokic- smart passer, silky-smooth touch in the lane and out to the 3-point stripe, and he is a dominant rebounder. He has a huge upside!
